This is more of that refined digi paints approach that i'm trying to pick up. I have a bunch of great linearts from Ian Richardson (
[link]), check out his gallery, he's done some great work for 2000AD and Marvel UK. Hopefully be doing some work with him in the future, just finding that right style for his lines... and strangely enough he's from my hometown neck of the woods which is great
That Brummie bond!
So, Ian requested I try and incorporate some more of his linework into the paint process, pointing me to some Adam Hughes work. So I took this in and went in guns blazing haha! I saw the lineart as being reminiscent of the old Wonder Woman tv show, a little more homely and All-American Mom/role-model and just tried to go with that feeling really!! It was mostly concentrated on the face to start with, and I was gonna leave it at that but I just had to add something to the body
Its a little rough in some places, but again... an experiment for now!
