My first attempt at Illustrator...very first! Perseverance was the key... all those new shortcuts and strict rules, pah! About 10 hours total time well spent.

Never going to go through it again.

Dude... This is really awesome. I have illustrator and the whole adobe suite, but I had no clue that Illustrator was capable of this level of awesomeness!

You can do anything as long as you persevere... and swear loud enough at the computer lol! Thanks Leo, glad your liking the work. Theres so much better illustrator stuff out there by the way, some great artists of the program on DA! Also, check out Brian Denham, he does comics, some for Marvel (Iron Man - Hypervelocity) and he only works in Illustrator... man is his work just breathtaking! :D

Sweet so is this why Marvel Comics are close to $4 now adays? Sorry only started buying comics again a couple months ago. I'm mostly a DC guy though, but a friend interested me in the "Old man Logan" story. Thanks very much and you can call me Scott by the way.♠

Old Man Logan is soooo good! Hope your enjoying it. Comics are just expensive full stop... apart from my local shop which is the cheapest in the UK... I think a new issue usually retails at £1.80, which is cheap as right now :D Thye might go down after the economy sorts, but I doubt that will happen anytime soon :/

Scott it is then, sorry I misread your name as Leo dude :D

No probs. I haven't read much of the story, a friend of mine introduced me to it the last issue of it I saqw Hawkeye is shot point blank through the forehead by some fat gangster looking guy.

yeah, that was savage... and I didn't see it coming tbh! Just download them if you can (but buy the issues if you like them obviously... gotta keep the scene alive!).

I can point you in a direction, or sort them out for you if you needed me too :D

Heh I know right? How many times does a hero get capped point blank in the forehead? Wow. You're really nice man. I appreciate the offer dude. I went to a comic shop in Beaumont, TX. today. I must say I am more of a DC fan but, as a kid I had a subscription to Spider-man. Wolverine though is my fave X-men. So I can go to Marvel.com or something and check out the next issue right?

The next issue isn't out yet I dont think... the writer Miller is quiet bombed down with work at the mo I reckon, so its a slow read :/

You can get hold of digital copies of everything released through torrents or personal scans which I occasionally do, both to back up my collection (I tend to buy pretty much most issues of, well most superhero stuff!!) Its piracy if you dont buy the issues, but its down to your discretion really... I wont say I have owned every digicomic i've ever read ;)

Marvel.com doesn't have any actual comics to read, well, new issues anyway! (I dont think!!)

Are you on PC or Mac?
